Terms of Use

ParseDirect lets you define reusable field templates and upload documents (PDFs and images) so our AI can extract structured data from them. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must provide accurate information to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@parsedirect.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• Upload malicious files, or use the Service to attempt to breach, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems;
• Use the Service to process content that is illegal, or that violates Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy (our AI subprocessor);
• Circumvent rate limits, page-credit limits, or resell API access without our written permission;
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our source code.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the data extracted from them ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content (including to our AI subprocessor, Anthropic) solely to provide and improve the Service. We don't sell Your Content, and we don't use it to train our own models.

You're solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to upload it.

Extracted data is produced by an AI model and, like any AI system, can be incomplete or incorrect — especially on low-quality scans, unusual layouts, or handwriting. The Service is a productivity tool, not a substitute for human review. You're responsible for verifying extracted data before relying on it for financial, legal, medical, or other consequential decisions.

Paid plans are billed monthly (or as otherwise stated at checkout) through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record for your purchase — meaning Paddle, not ParseDirect, is the seller and handles your payment details and applicable sales tax.

Plans include a monthly page-credit allotment. Unused credits do not roll over. If you enable pay-as-you-go overage, additional pages beyond your allotment are billed at the rate shown on your plan. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods.

You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change plan pricing or page allotments going forward with reasonable notice.

If you generate API keys, you're responsible for all requests made with them and for revoking any key you believe has been exposed. API usage is subject to the rate limits and page-credit rules described in our API documentation.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ParseDirect and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Sections 4, 5, 10, and 11) will survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted data will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParseDirect will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold ParseDirect harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
